Split Rock

While scouting for a rocky foreground for an astro-photography shoot, I came across this beautiful split rock. However, I realized that the orientation of the split, which is more or less east-west, would not work as planned for the astro shoot. Instead, with the split rock’s orientation in mind, I came back at a later date to shoot the split rock during sunset. With nature cooperating, I was very happy how it turned out…
